If you are in the business of selling coffee there are two words you should absolutely know how to spell. The first is espresso (not expresso) and the second is Colombian (not Columbian). This photo was taken today at the Northgate Starbucks inside the QFC.

Lest anyone think I was getting coffee there, I can assure you that I stopped in for an apple.
You never know with Starbucks, could be a trademark… maybe they just forgot the symbol. Try our new Columbian® Cap-o-chino®, it’s Tay-stee!®
Nice.
I did double check on their website that the VIA drink wasn’t invented at Columbia University or in Columbia, SC. Nope. They made a spelling error on a core product.
Opps! Mistakes happen, I’d be curious if it’s still spelled that way in a few days.
Opppss…
then how?
btw, what is that inside? never saw it at Starbucks in Malaysia
@Mike – I’m wondering how many of those signs were made and how many stores have it.
Just went back to see if the sign was still there. It is.
