Did Starbucks Listen to My Tea Advice?

In the INeedCoffee article Coffee Roundtable – Our Starbucks Idea, I assembled a group of INeedCoffee contributors to give their ideas to improve Starbucks.   Here was my 2nd idea.

Today was the official national roll out for the Starbucks VIA Instant Coffee.  I covered the taste yesterday in the post Fear of an Instant Coffee.  Since Starbucks is pushing this as an economical alternative to cafe coffee, what will the cost be?  From Starbucks unveils its instant brew on CNN Money:

Coffee Pu’er Tea

In late summer, I purchased a single serve square of pu’er tea that claimed to be coffee pu’er.  Pu-erh tea is tea that has been fermented and aged.  From the Wikipedia:

Chinese Blooming Flower Teaball

Here are a few photos of a Chinese Blooming Flower Teaball.  Although I wouldn’t consider these little tea balls (bombs) which expand into sponge-like flowers to be great tea, they are cool to look at if you have a glass tea pot. They are available at most good tea shops.

Improving Your Tea Game

Every so often, I get a shocked response from my fellow coffee fans when I tell them I have also become a tea fan.  They will mumble something about not liking tea.  I always respond the same.
If someone told you they didn’t like coffee, your mind would immediately think that they just had never tried [...]
