Caps and Grounds: Coffee Commencement 2 — J.K. Rowling

U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu will address the graduates at Harvard’s 358th Commencement on June 4.  Secretary Chu has an impossible act to follow, at least in terms of generating buzz beyond Harvard Yard — J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, delivered the commencement speech for Harvard’s Class of 2008.

Grand Cru Coffee Cupping – Stumptown Coffee

Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend a Grand Cru Coffee Cupping at Stumptown Coffee here in Seattle.  Stumptown already does daily coffee cuppings at 3 PM.  On Mondays they bring out the special coffee and they call this the Grand Cru Coffee Cupping.  This is a free event.
